Wickham Parish Council
How the Parish Council Works
The Parish Council comprises 11 Councillors who are
elected every four years. Councillors are unpaid
and are governed my a mandatory code of conduct which
includes obligations to act in an appropriate manner.
The Council works within a number of policies and
procedures which can be viewed using the menu on the
Each Parish Council differs in the work it carries out,
the work carried out by Wickham Parish Council is
through its committees: Finance, General Purpose, Planning, Recreation and
Water Meadows Trust. The Committees report to Full
Council with their recommendations.
The left hand menu provides an outline of the duties of
the committees together with minutes of meetings.
Members of the public are always welcome to attend both
committee and Full Council meetings.
