Disclaimer
In an ongoing effort to continually improve and remediate accessibility issues, we also regularly scan www.whiteleytowncouncil.co.uk with UserWay’s Accessibility Scanner to identify and fix every possible accessibility barrier on our site. Despite our efforts to make all pages and content on www.whiteleytowncouncil.co.uk fully accessible, some content may not have yet been fully adapted to the strictest accessibility standards. This may be a result of not having found or identified the most appropriate technological solution.
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to:
- Some older pdf documents may not be fully accessible to screen reader software. The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018. Any new pdf documents published will meet accessibility standards.
- The Facebook feed on the home page may not have adequate colour contrast. Link to Facebook page is given.
