Policy and Finance Committee

The  Policy and Finance Committee reviews the Council’s policies and procedures and oversees the Council”s finances making any necessary recommendations to Full Council.

Each year the Committee sets the budget or precept for the following financial year, this is the amount the Council requests Winchester City Council to raise on behalf of the Parish Council through the Council Tax.

Local organisations are invited to apply for grants which will be considered by this committee.  Applicants should complete the grant application form and ensure compliance with the grant terms and conditions.

The Committee is governed by its Terms of Reference and by the Council’s Finance Regulations.
