Winchester City Council Local Plan

The Parish Council submitted 2 representations to the Winchester Local Plan Regulation 19 Consultation. These had been discussed and agreed during meetings of the Planning & Highways Committee and Full Council.

Due to the timescales imposed by Winchester City Council surrounding the allocation of an extra 100 homes in Wickham, the Parish Council were unable to consult with residents. The results of a previous consultation carried out in 2022 were used as a basis for the background to the representation submission against policies WK5 and WK6. This consultation response had been approved at the meeting of the Full Council in July 2022 and can be read HERE 

As part of the representation submission against policies WK5 and WK6, the Parish Council resolved to support the site at Mayles Farm. This was partly based on the consultation response from 2022, and also the parcels of land that would be transferred to the ownership of the Parish Council. The master plan for the development at this site can be viewed HERE  and the parcels of open space available as part of the development can be viewed HERE.
