Local Government Reorganisation

Local Government Reorganisation – Have your say 

12 of the 15 Councils in Hampshire are working together and have commissioned a survey to respond to the Government’s invitation to create new Unitary Authorities for Hampshire.

There is also a roadshow in Wickham on 14th July, from 3-6pm by the Village Bakery in Wickham Square. Various other roadshows are as follows:

Mill Lane / Glebe Open Space Consultation information

The dedicated consultation website is now live  –  https://wickhamandknowleconsultation2025.org/ 

Beginning 23rd May, information packs for this consultation will be delivered to ALL Parish residents. These will contain an information leaflet and a paper copy of the survey. You can return your completed survey in person at each consultation event, to Pages or Hemings Home Hardware in Wickham Square, or the Parish Office at Knowle Village Hall , or through the dedicated consultation website.

Knowle Village Hall extension project

The Council was pleased to learn that planning permission was granted for the extension to the Village Hall. The details of the application can be found here:

The Council will now be working on the funding for the extension and going out to tender for the project.

 Wickham Recreation Pavilion project

 The Parish Council have been working on plans to replace the old sports pavilion at the Recreation Ground. An Architect has been engaged to draw up plans for a replacement building; this has now been submitted to Winchester City Council for planning permission.
